π Whiskey Bay Alligator Hunt Checklist
β Full Payment
$500 non-refundable deposit to be paid to hold the date.
Remaining balance to be paid at least 24 hours before your scheduled hunt.
Have money available for trophy fee ($700). Itβs a good chance it will be 9 ft or better! Whatever is on the line is your gator
$200 for additional guest
β Hunting License
You must purchase a Louisiana Alligator Sport Hunter Licensebefore the hunt.
Licenses can be purchased through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
β Proper Clothing
Wear weather-appropriate, outdoor gear. Think durable, breathable clothing you donβt mind getting dirty.
Waterproof boots, long sleeves, and a hat or cap are strongly recommended.
Bring rain gear just in caseβitβs the swamp, after all.

Camera or phone for photos
Cooler if you plan to take meat home
Any personal medications or essentials

Overnight stay: $150 (includes all meals)
Additional guest: $200 (limit: 2 people total)
After the Hunt
After you get your gator it will have to be processed. You are welcome to use our facilities to skin and debone your gator. The meat is yours to keep. The hide if you want to keep it, iβll have to be inspected by a LDWF agent before you can have it. This usually takes a few days. Hide will be slated and you will be called to pick up or shipped to you at hunter expense.
If you wish for us to process your gator, we will do so for a fee.

(Meat will be placed in bags and placed in your ice chest)
Cleaning the meat & vacuum packing $1.50 / lb live weight
(If we clean & vacuum pack your meat will be contacted
for it to be picked up or it can be shipped to you at your own expense)
